We organise Summer and Winter camps with fun language lessons in the morning and sports activities in the afternoon (mountain-biking, rafting, hiking, swimming, snowboarding, skiing…) and Animation workshops in a new program this year where campers will work on different animation techniques (drawing, stop motion, CGI, cut-out) and will produce a short film using one of these techniques.

We offer 4 different programs:

– the Fun program for 7 to 11 year olds

– the Adrenaline program for 12 to 16 year olds

– the Intense Mountain program for 14 to 17 year olds

– PIANO Program for 7 to 17 years olds

– DANCE ACADEMY for 10 to 15 years olds

This year we will welcome campers from July 1st until August 11st, 2018. The children are lucky enough to stay in one of the most beautiful hotels in Megève which offers high quality service to our campers. Campers will spend their holiday with young people from all over the world, studying the language and taking part in their favourite sports. Children have the possibility to develop their linguistic skills and discover new activities and cultures. Our language programs not only offer an opportunity to learn a foreign language but also encourage campers to discover new cultures, to make new friends, to respect each other’s differences, to learn to live and work with others  and, most importantly, to grow with these experiences. The language lessons are given by native speaking teachers who have many years experience in language teaching. We have different group levels so we accept children from beginners to advanced. The children blossom in the idyllic and safe environment of Megève, one of the most beautiful ski resorts in France and it is also considered as one of the most beautiful Alpine resorts.

Our staff ratios are 1 counsellor for 6 children so they are always under the close supervision of an adult. All children are taken care of individually and safety and security are our main priorities. Children can be Day Campers (from 9.00 am to 6.00 pm) or in Full-board accommodations.

Our philosophy is that “you do not learn a language but you live a language”. 

We have been organising the language camps for 20 years now in Megève and we are very proud of our program. Everything is designed to establish an atmosphere of confidence and we encourage the campers to be active in their own learning, creating the desire to continue to learn and to communicate.

A message from the School Director:

We are happy to announce that Summer Camp Registration is now open for 2018! After a record number of campers in 2017, we are expecting even more this year as we have room to grow. Invite a friend, tell a neighbour, or just make a difference in a child’s life by encouraging and helping them get to International Language Camps this summer.

This year, we are introducing brand new programming during our 6 week program. Allow me to introduce you to just a few examples of our new and dynamic events and activities this summer:

• During some Weeks, campers will have the opportunity to receive tennis or golf lessons from a premier coaching company.

I believe that the Summer Camp experience can have a life-long impact on a child. Camp provides a child with opportunities to become more independent, foster their self-esteem, make new friends, learn new skills, and develop an appreciation for the natural world. Our traditional approach combined with a modern facility and a fully qualified, dynamic staff team ensures the highest quality experience for every ILC’s camper.

At the end of a week of ILC camp, I want every child to say, “I loved my counsellors, I had a ton of fun, I made a lot of new friends from all over the world, I would love to come back and actually it all happened in French!”
