Established in 1941, The Outward Bound Trust is a charity that lives and breathes outdoor education, it’s in our DNA. From the moment participants arrive at centres they’re immersed in spectacular scenery and introduced to a world of new experiences. From rowing across lakes and camping in the wild, to lighting fires and building shelters, Outward Bound® empowers young people to conquer mountains —both real and metaphorical.
Every summer, from June to September, we deliver a range of 7 and 19-day adventures for 11-19 year olds. Participants join us from across the country and around the world to experience a real adventure at one of our 3 centres. From the stunning Welsh coast, to the English Lake District and the wild Highlands of Scotland, the choice is yours.
